A common computer repair problem is overheating due to dust buildup on fans inside the computer case which could cause lockups or a black screen. It could also be caused by cooling problems such as faulty fans. Be sure your CPU fan, power supply fan, and other fans are free of dust, dirt and running properly. Only use plastic vacuum tools inside the computer case and have the computer unplugged. The power supply case should never be opened as it is high voltage.
If your PC spontaneously turns itself off or reboots, it does not mean you have a ghost. It normally indicates either a defective or dirty cooling fan, loose cables, or a dying power supply. Computers often automatically switch off to try cooling themselves, so check to make sure all the fans run properly and are clean with no dust buildup. Make sure all the cables are securely attached and check the power supply.

Printer error messages or non-printing issues can be very annoying and bothersome. Once you have checked for problems and still cannot find a solution, try this. Use the on/off switch to turn your printer off. Next, take the plug out of the power outlet or wall and leave it unplugged for ten or more minutes. Plug your printer back in and using the on/off switch, turn your printer back on. Often this will solve your printing problems.
